This post is a compassionate act. It’s never easy to be born into a new world. It’s even more difficult when you take your first breath in a virtual world like Second Life: you find yourself orphan, in an adult (and generally ugly) body, you have all these buttons and menus and things to remember and, to make things worse, you are often surrounded by more skilled and beautiful avatars that laugh at your clumsiness.

In this post, my intention is not to teach you the basics of how to behave and move around in SL, there are many help spots where dedicated people offer these services. My goal here is simply to offer a few advices to make your virtual life more enjoyable.
