A group in Flickr proposed a challenge: images inspired by movies… I could not resist. I did several of these between 2010 and 2013, for an exhibition. Below are the new images on the Movie theme for the April’s challenge of the SL Photo Challenge Flickr group ?

I was about to warp back to the mothership when Abigail, the ship’s AI, called me: “Hey darling, suspect occurrences of biological life straight ahead! According to the various frequencies I monitor, it looks like a mad stellar system.”

This post is a compassionate act. It’s never easy to be born into a new world. It’s even more difficult when you take your first breath in a virtual world like Second Life: you find yourself orphan, in an adult (and generally ugly) body, you have all these buttons and menus and things to remember and, to make things worse, you are often surrounded by more skilled and beautiful avatars that laugh at your clumsiness.
